Monday Classes

Math Tutoring

Bring in your math problems and get the help you need! Tutoring in math subjects ranging from arithmetic to Calculus. No registration required. First session is always FREE!

Time: Mondays 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Cost: $15 per session. $50 monthly

Starting September 4th!

Our Tuesday & Thursday classes are designed for students ages 5 to 8 years old!

Tuesday Jr. Robotics (January)

Thursday Jr. Robotics (March)

Using visual programming anyone can code in our Jr. Robotics class. The young engineers will create code to move motors and use sensors! Students will program the bot to follow every task they write. Complete challenges that require the robots to go through a maze, activate a touch sensor, and more!

Immerse yourself in the 3D digital world! With TinkerCAD, learn how to design, draw and create 3D creations! You will then learn how to make your creation come to life on a 3D Printer!

Create your own app using MIT’s App Inventor and make your ideas come to life! Acquire the skills to develop an app from start to finish! Learn how to program like an app developer while creating your own game! (Android phone provided for class use)

 It’s never too young to start learning how the world works. Using LEGO® Mechanisms, create contraptions with gears, pulleys, and motors! Become a Junior Engineer and test your system! Have fun while building catapults, power cars, bridges and more! 

 Mad Science! (May)

(Tuesdays. May 1,8,15,22)

There is a little bit of mad scientist in all of us, explore your curiosity with hands on projects! Create oozing silly putty, take to the skies with an egg drop experiment, and delve into the world of science! This mad science class is the perfect mixture of learning and fun!

 Jr. Battlebots (May)

(Thursdays. May 1,8,15,22)

Using Lego Mindstorms, compete in exciting games such as Sumo Bots, Tower Siege, and more! Battle it out against other robot teams in order to be the ultimate champion. See how your engineering skills stack up against the rest!

Our Wednesday classes are designed for students ages 7 and up!

Video Game Creator (January)

Using the Construct 2 program, students will be able to design and develop their own computer games. From character and scenario development to fixing glitches, students will be assisted to create a game that they can share with friends and family!

 

Robots 101

(February 7,14,21,23)

Robots are the way of the future and it is your turn to get involved! Become the Robotics Engineer you have always wanted to be in our robot class. Learn how build a robot and program its sensors overcome fun challenges!

App Inventor

(March 7,14,21,28)

Create fun apps using MIT’s app inventor and make your ideas come to life! Acquire the skills and knowledge of Java’s syntax and programming style that expands across many different languages! Learn how to program like an app developer while creating your own game! (Android phone provided for class use)

3D Printing w/ Fusion 360

(April 4,11,18,25)

Immerse yourself in the 3D digital world! With the Computer-Aided Designing software Fusion 360, learn how to sketch, measure, and assemble handheld creations and watch them come to life on a 3D Printer before your very eyes! 

 

Intro to Electronics 

(May 2,9,16,23)

 Circuits, batteries, breadboards, and more! In our Electronics and Circuits class learn how to create working connections with a variety of electrical components! Make an automatic night light, an electronic board game, and learn how everyday electronics work. Your future in electronics starts here, become the next great Maker! 

 


Friday Classes

Minecraft Programming 

(January 5,12,19,26)

 Using the Lua programming language, students will learn how to build and program their very own Minecraft Robot! They will also learn the fundamentals of programming this robot to do the building, mining, and battling in their virtual world!

Space Adventure 

(February 2,9,16,23)

Destroy asteroids, defeat space invaders, and complete missions in our Space Adventures class! Using robots, protecting the galaxy is within your grasp and it is your job to keep the universe safe!

RoboMachines

(March 2,9,16,23)

Mix robot and machine to create fun mechanisms that you can control! Make your first robotic arm, program an aerial tram, and more! Robots are the future and you are the engineer!

 

Lego Contraptions

(April 6,13,20,27)

 GearsCreate mechanisms like you never have before! Build contraptions to compete against others in exciting challenges such as Tower Attack, LEGO bowling, and more!
